The Role:

The Finance Manager will manage and oversee all financial activity at Hybrid UK and support our two branch offices. Managing a Finance Supervisor and Finance Assistant, you will be personable, practical and able to plan and motivate your team. As part of a rapidly growing organisation, you’ll work at pace across several key areas, offering excellent opportunities for future development in your role.

Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with other key stakeholders, you’ll provide accurate and timely management information, continually drive process improvement and assist with insightful financial analysis that will contribute to the overall strategic decision-making and success of Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly financial and operational reporting for P&L, BS, cash flow & Headcount
  • Management of payroll in UK, Malaysia and Australia
  • Overseeing credit control and debt collection
  • Processing of supplier payments in line with agreed terms
  • Supporting the creation of budgeting and rolling forecasts for the business
  • Tracking and reporting of company KPIs
  • Managing international payments and exchange rates
  • Supporting our accountants to create annual financial statements and corporation tax
  • Quarterly VAT Returns & EC Sales Lists
  • Line management and development of the Finance Supervisor and Finance Assistant

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Attention to detail and technical accuracy
  • A positive and proactive approach to drive performance
  • Exceptional analytical and IT skills (including Excel, Google sheets) and a willingness to challenge
  • A drive to implement processes and automation to reduce manual tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the Company
  • Interest in the rapidly changing media market and growth ambitions for Hybrid
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills
  • Leadership and management skills to grow and develop the Finance Team
  • ACCA/CIMA qualified
