The Role

The Finance Manager will manage financial activity at Hybrid UK and support our two branch offices.  Managing a Finance Supervisor and Finance Assistant, you will be personable, practical and able to plan and motivate your team.  As part of a rapidly growing organisation you’ll work at pace across several key areas, offering excellent opportunities for future development in your role.

Reporting into the Head of Finance and Operations and the Managing Director and working closely with other stakeholders, you’ll provide timely management information contributing to overall strategic decision making, driving the future direction and success of Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly financial and operational reporting for P&L, BS & Headcount
  • Management of payroll in UK, Malaysia and Australia
  • Managing credit control and debt collection
  • Processing of supplier payments in line with agreed terms
  • Supporting the creation of budgeting and rolling forecasts for the business
  • Tracking and reporting of company KPIs
  • Management of banking and credit facilities
  • Managing international payments and exchange rates
  • Supporting our accountants to create annual financial statements and corporation tax
  • Quarterly VAT Returns & EC Sales Lists
  • Line management and development of the Finance Supervisor and Finance Assistant

Requirements:

  • Outstanding financial management ability
  • Ability to multi-task and manage daily pressures
  • Interest in the rapidly changing media market and growth ambitions for Hybrid
  • Exceptional analytical and IT skills (especially Excel) with the ability and gravitas to challenge
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills
  • Leadership and management skills to grow and develop Finance Assistant and others in the team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact between key individuals and teams throughout the business
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiastic approach to drive performance
  • Initiative to identify opportunities to drive process improvements across Hybrid
  • ACCA/CIMA qualified
