The Opportunity

The Head of Research is a new role at Hybrid to lead our data function globally. This role will shape our process on data collection, management and analysis to ensure we deliver greater value on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define processes on how Hybrid manages and leverages its data to build value for our clients
  • Analyse customer data to optimise our on-platform and off-platform campaign strategy
  • Maintain up to date information on education and technology markets, identifying opportunities for account growth and new services at Hybrid
  • Illustrate findings through whitepapers and reporting documentation to engage stakeholders at various levels
  • Recruiting and leading a team of Data Analysts as we scale
  • Be our leader of research and analytics, educating the wider business to operationalise the use of data throughout the company
  • Work closely with our senior team to translate insight into action

Requirements:

  • Track record of building and leading a data function within a fast-growth digital business
  • Excellent knowledge of data management and analytics tools
  • Comfortable working with large data sets across a range of markets
  • First class communication skills to collaborate with the wider digital, marketing and editorial functions
  • Relevant degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Computer Science etc.).
  • Ideally experience in the education / technology market
